Refund Policy

Effective: May 7, 2026

This Refund Policy supplements the SimplyMow Terms of Service and explains how refunds work for the SimplyMow subscription and for payments you collect from your customers through the Service. In case of conflict, the Terms of Service control.

1. SimplyMow Subscription Fees

Pro subscription fees are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access through the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be billed for the next period. Free-tier accounts have no subscription charges and nothing to refund.

If you believe you were billed in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a charge after you canceled), email support@simplymow.com within 30 days of the charge. We review billing-error refund requests in good faith.

2. Customer Payment Refunds (Merchant-Initiated)

When you (the merchant) refund a payment you previously collected from a customer through the Service, the refund is processed on your connected Stripe account. The refunded amount comes out of your Stripe balance.

The SimplyMow platform fee on the original payment, and the Stripe processing fee on the original payment, are both returned to the customer alongside the principal. You do not pay the SimplyMow platform fee on a refunded transaction.

Stripe enforces a 180-day window for refunds. Refunds requested after that window cannot be processed through the Service; you would need to refund the customer outside of Stripe (for example, by check or direct payment).

You can initiate refunds from the invoice detail screen in your SimplyMow dashboard.

3. Chargebacks and Disputes

A chargeback (also called a dispute) is initiated by a customer with their card-issuing bank, not through SimplyMow. Chargebacks are governed by the Stripe Connected Account Agreement and the card networks' rules.

You are responsible for the full amount of any chargeback initiated by your customer, plus any chargeback fees Stripe assesses on your account. The SimplyMow platform fee on the original charge is non-refundable in the event of a chargeback. You may submit evidence to Stripe to contest the chargeback; SimplyMow provides tooling in your dashboard to compile and submit dispute evidence, but does not represent you in the dispute.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the Settings page in your SimplyMow dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You can also delete your business account from Settings; deleting the business cancels any active subscription immediately and ends your access to the Service.
